Nikon - will my old SB26 flash work with a D70 body? - flash trigger voltage for sony alpha cameras
I want to borrow a Nikon SB26 flash, my old friend, but am not sure whether it is safe to use on your Nikon D70. I have differences in the activation voltage may cause damage to various organs of the new digital cameras is one, will not take the risk. Does anyone know for sure?

Page 188 of my D70s (note the "s)" lists the manual as a SB26 compatible flash, but can not use the TTL Auto mode.
